cursed

There are probably 2 things that I am cursed with. Chronic food poisoning, and expensive taste. I came to both realizations in the past week which explain my disappearance from blogging.

Since I haven't stepped foot out of the house in about a week, I don't have any outfit posts to share just yet. However, my wedding dress just arrived, so that counts as an outfit, kinda sorta right? I'm hoping to find the right shoes in time for my first fitting. Here is where my second curse comes in. All of the shoes I love are $600 and up. I am trying to justify this, but it's a little difficult considering all the other expenses we're incurring. My one and only piece of rationale is that if they're versatile and I can wear them on other occasions, then it's ok to own a pair of expensive glittery shoes, right? In any case, here are my top picks:

miu miu

the last 3 are louboutins.
what to do what to do.....
in any event, hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and um, stay away from bagged spinach!
oh, and the winner of the giveaway will be announced soon.

I'm so sorry about your food poisoning - I hope you're getting better!

$600 seems like a lot for shoes, but those peach/pink/nude Louboutins with the bow are TO DIE FOR. And if you're planning to wear them at your wedding - what better event than that to splurge on something for!?

Ohhh! Quite a coincidence that I just sent you an email & you posted abt being sick. Hope you are feeling better.

I also love the nude Louboutins. I think you could get a lot of mileage out of it.

I don't think I was clear on which nude Louboutins I like. I am leaning more towards the slingbacks, although the sparkly ones are growing on me more & more I see them. Tough choice!

Eeeek, I hope you're recovering speedily from your bout with food poisoning! That sounds terrible! The first pair of sparkly heels are SO BEAUTIFUL. And the last pumps you listed are gorgeous too! I would definitely think it's okay to spend more on your wedding shoes because they're your WEDDING SHOES!

Well.... I bought some shoes that were Kate Spade- not AS much as yours but I think they were close to $300? Anywho afterwards I got them dyed black and I still L-O-V-E them and wear them so that is an idea? Otherwise I would just get what you want and if they are something like nude or whatever you will so wear them again!

on one hand, it's your wedding and that's a pretty valid excuse to get some fabulous shoes (those sparkly miu miu's, wow!). on the other, you might want to get something a little less expensive that can get more use. maybe something in the $200-400 range as a compromise?

oh no, not bagged spinach! :/ hope you feel better so you can enjoy the good weather this weekend.
