jumping ahead

I totally posted about my non existent wedding dress, before presenting what I'll be wearing for graduation. I fell in love with this dress immediately and have yet to see something so sweet and genuinely pretty from J. Crew. We have 2 graduations so this is the one I'll be wearing to the first one. I'll be wearing a Marchesa dress to the 2nd one. I'm excited that graduation has given me an excuse to buy 2 new dresses :)

I want this to be my wedding dress

I know that overall, I want a simple wedding dress. I don't watch "Say yes to the dress" because I could never get myself to spend one's entire wedding budget on just a dress! I think J. Crew dresses are reasonably priced and this is one of my favorites. I should probably take a trip to Rockefeller to check it out in person.

I've decided to take a different direction with this blog. As much as I love J. Crew, I need to start wedding planning and want to incorporate that into the blog. I'll still post about J. Crew outfits and daily wear, but I'll also include it because my dress and BM dresses are from there. I'll be posting about my DIY projects too. This new layout incorporates my wedding colors (as of now, this might change, hopefully not!) orange, and pink! The biggest challenge I foresee is planning a wedding on a tight budget so I hope my ideas will help someone along the way!

almost done!

Just took my last exam for grad school and am almost done! Our school's end of the year social is tonight and I'll of course be wearing J. Crew!
