Yesterday I met up with C and W for some shopping at Topshop. To our surprise there was a line but the wait to get in was only 5-10 minutes. I was immediately overwhelmed once we stepped inside. The store seems enormous but it really isn't. It's just that with all the people you move so slowly, it takes forever to navigate. My advice to you if you go on a busy day: grab everything you like immediately! In the beginning I was moving in slow motion and kept saying I'd come back for something but then it would disappear seconds later. The ground floor is women's clothing and accessories, the basement is Topman (didn't bother going there), second floor seemed to be mostly basic knits with a petites section (did not notice a Tall section), and the third floor was some more clothes and shoes. W got two pairs of shoes but the wait for someone to find her size was quite long, probably because it was insanely crowded that day. I ended up getting a top, sweater, and gothic lace leggings. When we were getting rung up they asked me if I had a student ID--students get 10% off! That was definitely a pleasant surprise. Even though I'm glad Topshop is now in NYC, this shopping trip definitely made me miss London even more!!
