i've gotten so many compliments on this hat that i got from my super cute cousin-in-law-to-be. i love the beading and detail on the side.

after dinner in the city, C took us to Chickalicious. i got the raspberry cupcake (L) while she got red velvet. i should know this by now: red velvet always wins!

kitty! and a stylish one at that, she loves leopard prints just as much as i do. took her on her first roadtrip with us yesterday.

or not. we were expecting the snow to start last night but after dinner in the city, there was no snow to be seen. just salt on the roads. and this morning, there is no snow either. thanks a lot mister weatherman!


i love this fair isle cardigan by j crew. i've always wanted one, and its taken years to find one that worked. i saw some cute ones at abercrombie but i'm not down with the moose logo. in any case, this one is incredibly warm. while everyone in my office is freezing, i stay toasty in this.


see? i was ready for the snow with my tramper hat! it's lined with sherpa. SO comfortable, and perfect for tuning out crazy people on the train.

hope everyone is staying warm, and for those of you who did get snow, be safe! and please remember to clear the snow off the roof of your cars. (sorry for the psa but as some of you know from this post, this is an important cause to me).

sundays are my go-out-in-public-looking-like-a-bum-but-i-don't-care-days. (hence my hair and pale coloring. oh and i wore this with tall uggs :). this anthropologie devoted doggedly cardigan is actually one of the most comfortable cardigans i own. i paired it with an anthropologie snakebite belt that i took off while eating the best italian sub at Wegman's, of all places.

i hope this sweater will serve as a constant reminder to my dear fiance that I WANT A PUPPY. thank you :)

zara manages to combine my favorite things into each item of clothing. pairing sequins on a motorcycle jacket is one of them.


i'm still loving these aldo boots. and my verdict on best leggings? Madewell.

getting ready friday night for dinner at le bec fin

finally got to wear the few pieces from the rodarte for target collection. out of all the things i ordered from this post, these are the only things that i kept, mostly for practicality purposes. not to mention, the bow buttons on that leopard print dress were ridiculously difficult to manage.

i got these steve madden booties for $18 during my first trip to filene's.
