We had such a fun time in Atlantic City for our joint bachelor/ette party. The day started off with a girl's brunch at Continental followed by some time at the spa. The guys got seasick went deep sea fishing during the day. Both groups later met up for an amazing dinner at Cuba Libre followed by some gambling, and dancing.

Over the last week I've had about ten different kinds of popcorn because we've been taste testing for our popcorn buffet. We ordered sample sizes from Michigan's popcorn wagon. Our favorite? Cookies and cream, hands down. These photos from weddingbee.com are my inspiration for the popcorn buffet we're having at the wedding.

Every free minute I've had recently has been spent on job hunting and wedding planning. After a stressful week of both, I decided to reward myself with a cupcake.

I got this cardigan on sale and while I've been distancing myself from anything cutesy, the sweet little flowers just pulled me in.

it's my party

my bachelorette party, that is. it's coming up in a few weeks and i'm debating on what to wear. these are my picks so far: alice & olivia rosette dress, bebe neon strapless dress, bensoni lip print dress. in all likeliness i'll go for the alice and olivia dress. i've always wanted to try something in neon though, so now seems like a good time to do it. the bensoni dress is one of my favorites, hanging in my closet, waiting to be worn though. after seeing it on Whitney from the City, i knew i had to have it.



as for the bachelorette party itself? it's actually going to be a joint event! during the day, H and his friends will be doing their own thing, as will my girls and i. in the evening we're going to all join together for dinner, drinks, dancing (if my feet can handle it...unlikely!), and some gambling. lets hope lady luck is on my side!

Here's what I discovered at a recent trip to one of my favorite stores, Anthropologie.

I came home with all four items, and to my absolute surprise the cover up rang up as half price! Love it when that happens.

This is the first weekend in awhile that I don't have any concrete plans. I'm pretty excited to just sit back, relax, and watch some fireworks. Enjoy the long weekend, everybody!
